Camp Crystal Update Zoom Meeting

Dear CBCA Cottagers,
We had a great turnout for the Camp Property Update meeting held at the Mission House last Thursday. More than 40 people came to hear Chris Sullivan, Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy Director of Land Protection; Michael Dirksen, Crystal Commission Capital Campaign Chairman; and CBCA Ad Hoc Committee members Marge Elliott, Kevin Ewing, and Bill Morro give updates on the church's plans for maintaining and improving Camp Crystal. There was a high level of interest as indicated by the number of questions asked and answered.

Since Thursday, we've had several requests to do another meeting on Zoom for those people that are either out of town or were unavailable to attend last week. In response, we are planning a Zoom meeting  for Sunday, June 8, at 5 p.m. Eastern. Sunday's meeting will summarize the presentations made by Chris Sullivan and Michael Dirksen and focus on the CBCA Ad Hoc committee activities in support of the church's capital campaign. There will also be plenty of time for your questions and input.  

To register online for Sunday's meeting click the registration link or, if you prefer, send an email to marjorie.elliott@rcn.com with the names of those attending.  The zoom access link will be sent to everyone who registers for the meeting.  Please register by Friday, June 6.

Located on the south shore of beautiful Crystal Lake near Frankfort, Michigan, the Crystal Beach Cottagers Association (CBCA) continues the sense of community and fellowship originally established by the Crystal Beach Christian Assembly in 1916.  The Association is made up of 72 privately owned cottages which, in many cases, have  been in the same family for two or three generations.  This website is designed to communicate current information to the CBCA community.
